had a great grandfather that came through Ellis Island with the spelling Vrtacic and he states on there that he was Slovenian. Born 1889 in the early 1900's and have noticed all the different spellings from this last name in the National Archives and elsewhere. He married Maria Kure,had two children and both children ended up having only one child each.
