What is E.I. Ellis Island. Since I'm not a paying Ancestry subscriber, I can only go to Ellis Island arrival manifest.
Did the shipping clerk write Z the European way or the American way? Could the Z be a G in Winga? Still would like to see a larger view or a view of the "Winza"that I can enlarge on my end.
While researching, it is best to keep the family stories stored in the book and use it at the end of a research. It genealogy only documents and documentation. Yes, entirely possible that ancestors were from over the border of each other.
