Ancestor in Uman 1900-1915 - BOKKENKUP

Hello!

I would like to find out the origins of my grand-grandfather, who married Anna Germanova, with whom lived in Uman in the beginning of XX century.

The only thing I know is his surname in Russian transliteration - BOKKENKUP. Also I have a photo which shows him a slender blonde man. Perhaps he had moved to Ukraine from Germany or Austria-Hungary.

The actual original spelling may differ. There can be quite a few diverse variants (German, Swedish and Dutch) - BOCKENKUP, BOCKEN-KUP, BOCKENKOEP, BOCKENKOOP, etc.

I would appreciate any help that can be provided to me in my search for roots.

Thanks!

Andrei Vtorov.
