Today hamlet size Piadykivtsi (Пядиківці in Ukrainian) is clustered w/selo/village Nepolokivtsi (Неполоківці in Ukr) > Kitsman raion/district > Chernivetska oblast/region > Ukraine, latest zip 59330. This region is stilled referred to as Bukowyna, Land of Beech Trees, by the natives.

TODAY there are still Bodnar = Боднар living in this hamlet. BTW the Chess Trainer at the Middle School carries this surname, Bodnar. He has produced several regional chess champions.

Brief History:
This hamlet was first documented in 1624. The Polish King, Jan III, was the winner of the Polish-Ottoman War, became the ruler of Bukowyna and awarded the village as property to Stefan Holubowski, in gratitude for his military svces in this region. During this period, part of this hamlet was called Bereste.
