Ivan, can I get you to write that in English? I might not get it translated correctly.

As long as you know and have documents to confirm those to locations as a place of birth, fine with me. It just does not add up in my mind that how a Magyar and a Slovak communicated on the boat.
What immigration you have that lists your ancestor Ruthenian? I certainly do not see that on the 2 NY EI arrival manifests.

Went to look in Kisvarda's phone book and sure enough a several phone listings for Simák György Gábor

Did you go thru Kisvarda's church records?

No phone listing for PASZTOR/PASZTOROVA, PASTOR/PASTOROVA in Sady nad Torysou, Slovakia's phone book.
The location Beszter and Zdoba make up Sady nad Torysou.
