Can anyone tell me what the next step would be to finding a birth certificate of my grandfather or even his marriage certificate? I dont know his parents names or even how many siblings he had. I know his name, date of birth, when he arrived in New York and on what ship. He never would tell anyone any information about his family in Ukraine. He spoke of a few towns in Ukraine....or Poland as different times and district changes. We believe he was born in Rhohatyn (sp) but spoke of Dolyiany (sp) and ofcourse Kiev. Any help would be great. I have been working on this for 13 yrs with no news !
