I see that Andriy (Materra) has been in touch with you on another site. He is the local I made reference to as being most competent and capable of providing help, for your purposes. He has first hand knowledge of the area and established entre` to the Lutsk Archives, which most researchers find difficult to access. He is fluent in English, Russian, Polish and Ukrainian and his rates are very fair.
During WW2 Vohlyn was savagely razed. Between Stalin's "scorched earth policy" and Hitler's determination to bring the bread basket of Europe under his control, many villages and the villagers in them were erased. Doing research here w/o help is difficult, to say the least.
