Slava Pavlovsky (Russian: Слава Павловский) was the grandmother of my cousin. She was born in Izium (Ukrainian: Ізюм) which is now located in Ukraine.
During World War 2, Slava Pavlovsky (Слава Павловский) was displaced and ended up in a refugee camp in Germany. At the end of the war, she could not reconnect with her family because they had all been seperated and displaced. Slava Pavlovsky (Слава Павловский) travelled through Switzerland to Italy, and boarded a refugee ship called the Skaugum. she arrived in Australia on May 12th 1950.
Slava Pavlovsky (Слава Павловский) passed away on May in 2010. All that is known is that her mother was Polish and her father was Russian. She was born in Izium and had approximately 1 brothers and 2 sisters or 1 brother and 1 sister. Slava disliked to talk about it due to it being deeply emotional for her.
Please, Any information regarding Slava Pavlovsky's family (OR any of the Pavlovsky family) would be greatly appreciated by her surviving family in Australia.
