My grandfather, Misha (moishe) Trager, born in Odessa/Russia left with his parents and I think 4 sisters and they ended in Australia. At the outbreak of world war 1, he had to enlist in the army so he left Australia as a stowaway for the USA. no idea how long he stayed there. He travelled the world and met my grandmother in Palestine as it was called after WW 1. They moved to Indonesia where they lived until around 1958 and moved to Israel. I know they visited Australia after WW 2. Does anybody know anything about relatives in Australia? I am not sure but the surname may have been Trajerski.
