I'm looking for relatives of my Grandfather on my father's side of the family.

The last name is Hrywniak, my grandfather's father's name is Alec and was born in 1884 living through 1936. I believe he was from the Sanok Poland Region. My grandfather's mother's name is Maria Yurchak and lived from 1888-1947, she is from the Certizine Austria Region. I keep hitting dead ends with my research due to the children all changing last name spellings. Some spelled it Hrevnack. Others changed it to Revnack, and my grandfather changed the spelling to Hryvnak. My grandfather's sisters took the last name of their respective husband.

I am having trouble finding any immigration records, but census records do indicate that they have first records. Any help that can be provided would be greatly appreciated.

All that I have read is pointing me in the direction to both relatives having a Carpatho-Ruysn background.
