I strongly suspect that you are looking for wies/village Krupiec(coordinates 50.33N-23.03E in Poland today), which was a Ruthenian/Ukrainian village w/its own Greek Catholic Church> Cieczanow was both the powiat/administrative district and the gmina/judicial-tax district > Lwowskie wojiwodstwo/region > Austro-Hungarian Empire from late 18th century to 1919, when Poland was reconstiituted, after not existing as a geopolitical entity for the previous 125 yrs.

Use Mapquest (M) on Shtetlseeker to locate all villages
and towns listed here. http://www.jewishgen.org/Communities/loctown.htm

Moldova is a quite a distance from Lublin, Chelm and Przemysl > Poland, where Grandmother was born. Maybe Grandmother was talking about Cieczanow, which was the district center town??? Andrijowka (Jedrzejowka - Polish name) is not very far away. For geographic reference, Narol is fair size town nearby.

At one point Lubaczow was the powiat for your village and Leopolenis is Latin for Lwow/Lviv (City of the Lion).

Unfortunately, I also suspect that your ancestral village may no longer exist??? On the map all I could find was Pusce Solska.

I would go to the Poland Forum and ask for clarification.
The researchers over there know their geography. If the village still exists, they should be able to provide you w/the most current address, etc.

Records:

***Krupiec was a parish in PEREMYSHL EPARCHY.

In 1772 the Austrian Empire required that the clergy keep registers for births, marriages and deaths for their parish. These records would then be duplicated for civil registries. It took some time for all areas of the Empire to be in compliance with this new law. In the Peremyshl area this did not start until 1784.

The Greek Catholic archived records for the Galician portion of Peremyshl (Poland and Ukraine) are found in the Przemysl State Archive (Archiwum Panstwowe w Przemyslu). The Civil Registry Offices hold more recent records.

Only a very small portion of parish books from 106 parishes in Przemysl have been microfilmed by the LDS. I checked the LDS FHC library and your ancestral village has not been filmed. You will need to have a private researcher, or write for them. There is an hourly research charge and a document fee. Not sure of the pricing.
