Mala Vyska/Viska is the district center town in Malavyskivskij raion/district > Kyrovohradska (Kyrovohrad) Oblast. Latest zip code 26200-204

WITHOUT A FIELD??? Mother's ancestral town was/is a place of Cossack descendants. Are you sure she was from district center town and not one of the 25+ villages in the district?
Immigrants frequently referred to their district center as place of origin for geographical referrence, because their own villages were very small.
