MORRISVILLE, Pa. -- Anatol Chomenko, 73, died Monday at Capital Health System at Mercer hospital, Trenton.
Born in Poltava, Ukraine, he lived in Morrisville 50 years.
He retired after 37 years as an assembler with General Motors Corp., Fisher Body Division.
He was a member of St. George's Ukrainian Orthodox Church and United Auto Workers Local 731, Ewing, N.J.
Son of the late Gregory and Maria Izumenko Chomenko, he is survived by his wife, Nina Dyrjawoj Chomenko; three daughters and a son-in-law, Lydia Chomenko of Belmar, N.J., Natalie and Roman Honch of Woodstock, Ga., and Katherine Chomenko of Morrisville; and two granddaughters, Anita and Alexandra.
Divine Liturgy will be 10 a.m. Thursday at St. George's Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 839 Yardville-Allentown Road, Yardville, N.J.
Burial will be in Morrisville Cemetery.
Calling hour will be 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the church, with Panahida services at 7 p.m. The Rev. John Fatenko will officiate.
