Ancestors from Vojvodina
Hi everbody,
I am looking for somebody who is able to help me out with informations on the SAAR family! The family is originally from Germany and moved down the Danube River to settle down in the Vojvodina region. My dad was born in Skorenovac. His father had a pretty high position in a coal mine and this is why he was carried away by the Serbs (this is what my grandmother told me). We are now living in Germany again since mid of the 60'ies and I was born here. I do not want to blame anybody for what happend in these days, all I want to find out is if my grandfather is still alive and if not, when he died and where! So if there is somebody, who can help me out, I appreciate every hint given to me! Hvala lepo and bye.
