Hello all,
Is their a annals or chronicles of the finance ministry that maybe someone can look this up for me in? I don't know the name, only this story that has been passed down through the family.
My Great-great-great-great-great Grandfather was a Ottoman minister of finance, he was falsely accused and executed, after a time the truth came to light, and they realized that he had been falsely accused. The Sultan was sorry, and so gave his two sons a pension for life.
Is that story good enough to find it in the records? Or are their many like it?
