Yes you are right these Gronos in the book came from Dutch settlement. Did you ever get pages photocopied from the book Sodbusters sent to you? There are about 10 pages incliuding photos in the history of the Kinuso and Swan River Settlement about these gronos and I found one page about Ashley. I have a photocopy of Agnes death certicate, in Florida. I live in Edmonton, AB and I have a copy of this book. Granny Grono was my great great grandmother. I am descended from Agnes, Ellen, Winnifred, Frances. e-mail me your address and I will send the pages to you. My Aunt Florence who lives in Waverley, NS also has a copy of the book.
