Hi Audrey,
If you think Mr. Bareham probably died during this time in Calgary, there is a sight where images of the Calgary Herald over that time period are available:

Click on "Early Alberta Newspapers" and search for the appropriate papers by date to city/town of publication. Unfortunately, they are not searchable by content (i.e. a search on the word BAREHAM won't yield any results), but if you have some time and patience to read through the images for the 1922-1924 papers you may find an obit for a Mr. Bareham in there somewhere which might give you the info you're looking for for no cost but your time.
