Since this was an accidental death - the Coroners office may have been involved. There may have been an autopsy or an inquiry.

Contact the Camrose Public Library:

They may hold newspapers from that time frame on microfilm. these would include obituaries -Best if you know the date or month.
There may also be news story /s in the newspaper.
