Are you still looking for the info per your old posting in Ancesrtry.com? I have only recently been researching my family history and came across your message today. In fact I have your own name in my family tree! You and I are third cousins!
Considering your message is 6 years old I’m sure you have obtained information by now. If not, I have info on Adam Birnie Carle’s family going backwards and only a date and place of birth for Margaret Hood. However you can probably assist me in expanding my tree as I only show them having one child, Jessie Birnie Carle, whom I presume is your Grandmother. If I recall correctly my source of information was Lauren Kernohan in New Zealand.
