I am looking for anyone that may know the fate, or be family, of Robert Henry BOYD. He was born July 5, 1907 in Rutherglen, Scotland, emigrated to Canada in 1927, was a master Baker and lived in Ontario until 1934-ish when the Depression forced him to go west in search of work. He landed a post with Canadian Bakeries in Calgary in 1935, is listed in the Henderson's Directory for Calgary in 1936 and then Edmonton in 1940 & 41, where he was working for Edmonton City Bakery. I also found a "possible" entry for 1952 in Edmonton, but can't be sure it's him (no middle initial and no occupation listed). He had an uncle in Saskatchewan who had emigrated from Ireland in 1904 and was homesteading. He did visit there at some point during the 1930s or 40s (not sure of the exact time). I checked passenger lists to see if he may have gone back to Scotland and also death records there, but no trace.
