I seem to have come to a brick wall with Mary Ellen Dawson. I definately know she emigrated to Canada because both my Gran and Mum used to correspond with the family,and i have photo's which she sent to my Gran. I know she married a Thompson maybe I got his 1st name wrong. I'll have to have another look through old paperwork. Thank you so much for all your help
