thank you so much. you and peter have been extremely helpful. would never have even thought of vital statistics..that will be our next step...he doesnt qualify for a death certificate,he needs to be a child NOT put up for adoption, but the geneological search may be our way..i am sure they will at least confirm based of the birthdate and full name we can provide. we are hoping to see other names of next of kin but doubt that info wil be available to us.i believ we will be making a little trip to edmonton and bassano this spring/summer. if i find any extra info i will post it as well..thank you
