Joseph Boucher married Marie Josephte Page or Lepage in the 1820s. They appear in St. Genevieve de Berthier in 1830 to baptize 3 children, the oldest is 6yrs. Joseph may have been in the West as a voyager prior. He is said to have been native american. They settle in Vermont around 1840. His oldest son by Marie is Olivier born around 1822, I can not determine his place of baptism. Joseph could have been married prior to marrying Marie in the West. I have not found any record of his Marriages. He lived to be 100yrs old in St. Albans, Vt. and is the ancestor of most Bushey's in Northern Vermont and Clinton County, New York
