Looking for origin of Neil MacKenzie possibly born in Fodarty,Scotland 1816. Married Margaret Morrison dau of William and Mary (McAskill) Morrison in Cape Breton, NS.
The Morrisons settled at Loch Lomond around 1820.

Looking for descendants of Charles, Alex, and James MC lean brothers from Seagrave ,Ontario who moved to Alberta around 1910. Charles lived near Sylvan Lake ,ALberta in the 1950's. Any information would be appreciated.

Marvin P. Elmore had 9 children with Sh'Katla from Lillooet, BC. He did to to Iowa with his brother George. Marvin Perlie married Mary Jeannette Albee. Marvin died in Seymour, Iowa Jan 9 1901. He is buried in Southlawn Cemetery. I've seen his named spelled as Perley, Perl, Poll, Pearl. I've found no evidence of a marriage with Sh'Katla (Catla, Katlah). The children seem to have lived in an orphanage/school called St. Joseph's Mission. Marvin and George were children of Daniel Elmore and Helena Yeager/Yager. They had approx 8 children. George Sr. married Luella Maple. You can find them on the Iowa Census collection. George Joseph Elmore, son of MP Elmore married a Christine Lizotte (I've seen different spellings). They settled in Seymour, Iowa and had about 8 children.

Looking for information on the George or Marion Perle (M. P. Elmore) families. I believe they worked for the Hudson Bay Co. in the 1870's or 1880's. Marion Perle had several (perhaps 8) children by an Indian woman. He had a son George who married Christine Lazotte (?) adopted daughter of a French trapper Pierre Lazotte. This is according to family legend, nothing documented. Christine born 1866 and George born 12-23 1865 in Good Hope (?). They were married March 30, 1886. Daughter Pearl born Dec. 20, 1886 in Fort Vermillion. None of above information is documented. although a great source of family gossip. Apparently Marion Perle and the Indian were never married and Marion eventually left Canada and settled in Seymour, IA in the late 1890's, early 1900's. Would love to make contact with someone who could at least send me in the right direction to search.
