I spent many happy hours at the Nelson home in '41 and '42 but then in '43 I met the most beautiful girl in The Hat and that was the end of my trips to Brooks. On 3rd January '44 we were married and I was the happiest guy in the world.
Never heard anything about that Aqueduct but of course young lads only thought about the next gal they were going to date.
I left in March of '44 so would never have met your brother; guess he must be almost as old as me, (87)And I presume you must be knocking on a bit yourself. Do you have any pics of the town? Owen Clarke
