I am seeking relatives of Samuel MacKeanzie, son of John MacKenzie b. 1880 Cardross, Scotland and wife Elizabeth Jane. Samuel served in R.C.A.F. WW11 and was killed on 29/30August 1944. Grew up in Medicine Hat moved to work for Hudson Bay Co. in Vernon, British Columbia 1933. Samuel was my mother's first cousin. I am researching family tree. My family recently sent flowers to his grave which were included in a local celebration of the 60th anniversary of his death. The locals in Denmark still uphold his memory.
