ANNA HAVSGAARD born December 9, 1901 somewhere around Oslo, Norway.

Desparetly seeking information of the life of ANNA HAVSGAARD, born December 9, 1901 around Oslo, Norway. Emigrated to Canada on board the Oscar II (Scandinavian-American Ship Line) point of departure was Kristiana, Norway. Point of arrival was Halifax, Nova Scotia on April 18, 1927. Anna Havsgaard then relocated to New Norway, Alberta (or somewhere close by) where she was employed as a hairdresser and domestic. She was previously employed as a hairdresser in Oslo, Norway. She had a child out of wedlock on Octover 4, 1929 at the Beulah Home in Edmonton, Alberta. That child is my father he was named CAMERON HAVSGAARD, at the time of his birth Miss Havsgaard would not reveal any information about the father. It is a great assumption that he was of Scottish heritage and that his first or last name might have been CAMERON. I do know that he was a painter. Can anyone help me find what happened to my long lost grandmother, and anything about my grandfather.

Thank you.

I am looking to find the descendants of my 2nd. great grand Aunt, Jennie Bell Coombs. Jennie is the daughter of Maurice B. Coombs and Lucy Ann Paige. She immigrated with her family from Ireton, Sioux County, Iowa USA between 1900 and 1901 to Olds, Alberta, Canada where she married Hiram Wesly Dowling on May 6, 1904 at the R.M. Tribe, Olds Canada, Division of Calgary. Hiram is the son of George Dowling and Marguret Williamson. According to a sketch that mentions them in the book titled "A History of Olds; Mountain View", it names a daughter of theirs as Mrs. T.A. Oeyell of Wainwright that was born in 1905. I would be happy to share all information with any descendants that would be interested in exchanging information.

She was born on December 9, 1901 and was a hairdresser. She moved to New Norway, Alberta (or close by) where she had a child out of wedlock at the Beulah Home on October 4, 1929. The child (my father) was named CAMERON HAVSGAARD I believe the first name of the father to be Cameron or it could be a last name. He was believed to be of scottish heritage and was a painter.
