Hi Wendy, are you related to Mary Rowe?? I have been in contact with her and she is located in eastern Canada. We are related through the Gamache/Mayota(sp??) family. My grandfather was Edward Gamache (aka Edouard Mayotte) and he was located in Pincher Creek AB. We are still in the area. I will check for the name Poole. It sounds familiar. We are Metis but of the Cree, Santa Souix, and Ojibway lines. The Gamache line from eastern Canada (Ontario) are Ojibway and the woman he married (Elizabeth Pope) was Cree-Souix.
