I am trying to trace the path of one Thomas Clay White, born in New Brunswick to Henry and Ellen White. Thomas married Mary Ann McIntyre and they had 3 children together: Thomas Clay (II), Miriam, and Edith. Miriam was born in Boston, MA around 1916 or so. Edith was born much later in Red Deer, AB around 1921 and Thomas Clay (II) followed in 1923. This seems to indicate that Thomas Clay White (I) and Mary Ann McIntyre lived in this region for at least this amount of time. Apparently, things didn't work out well between Mary Ann and Thomas, because later on I find that Mary Ann ends up in Richmond, VA and dies there in 1956. No mention of Thomas shows up, but I do know from my grandad Thomas Clay White (II) (1923- 1986), that he believed (or heard this from his mom or sisters) thought that Thomas Clay (I) abandoned the family and stayed in Canada. I wish to find this Thomas Clay White (I) and his family, if he did marry again, so that I can bridge the gap that I find here. This could help bring some peace to this side of the family if I could find out what really happened! Thank you.
