Barnes BROOKS
The finding aids of the Alberta Genealogical society lists a Barnes BROOKS, 1866 - 1951 buried in the Westlock cemetery at Westlock Alberta.
Then I checked the "Canada National Archives" website and found Barnes D. BROOKS and Andrew Clyde BROOKS had applied for homesteads which are 3 miles South West of the Spirit River Town. The BROOKS name does not appear on today's County map of the area. You can find this website by doing a search on those 3 words, then click on Dominion Land Grants. Also you can find links as to where you can order copies of the documents of these homesteads.
I did not check to see who is buried next to Barnes BROOKS.
