Hi thanks for the information. Although my late father was born in Stettler Alberta he came to England in about 1931 as his brother was born in Southampton area England. My father married my mother in Paignton Devon England and he died at the age of only 33 in Luton Hospital Bedfordshire England . I was born in England. I have been able to obtain the death certificate of my father and also my parents marriage certificate. I cannot find any info out on my grandparents, whether they emigrated to Canada from England as they do not come up on anything or whether they were born in Canada. Have so little to go on with them. They both died in England.
I will have a go at applying for the birth certificate long version of my father. Can you give me their email or address please as I am in England.
