I have been trying to find someone who can help me find out about my gr gr gr grandparents who were Frenchcanadian. They came to the US when their children were small, and I found them first in the 1880 census of Wood County, Ohio.
I can not seem to find them in Canada, and I don't know where to start. I saw on heritage quest once that their daughter may have been born in Three Rivers, Canada, whereever that is. The name I am looking for is Peter and Annie (Kindle) Gonyer or Gagne. Any ideas where to start to look? Thanks please e-mail me at kayse1953@yahoo.com since this is a library computer I am using right now. Thanks so much!!
