Birth Registrations/Genealogical Registrations/ Long Form Birth Certificates - can be ordered from the Govt. of Alberta Vital Statistics Registry offices.

The cost is in the $40 range. There are restrictions as to who can apply for these registrations.
Is Alice SEARS still living?
Your husband should be able to obtain his mothers Birth Registration.
* a Birth,Marriage or Death Certificate - are extracts of basic information taken from the Registrations. Good for proof of an event -
