Looking for any and all information re the family of Duncan McPHADEN (wife Janet) and family of Thomas R. FAWCETT (wife Leila McPhaden, dau. of Duncan and Janet) who settled west of Morinville in the late 1800s and early 1900s. Both families originated in Ontario (Glengarry Co.).
Duncan (b.c. 1833, d. 1917 Morinville) and Janet (b.1842 - died 1925 Edmonton) had at least 10 children including Leila. Thomas Fawcett (b.c. 1860 - d. 1948 Morinville) and wife Leila (b. 1865 - d. 1948 Edmonton) had at least 6 children.
