There a note about an "Ernie Cook" although I don't now if he's "yours" or not.

Cook, Erna (Ernie), b. Manitoulin Ialand, Ont.
1898, moved to Tabor; 1913 to Grouard, homesteaded in Spirit River and was in lumber business; 1919 moved to Conjuring Creek, Leduc district, on wife's family farm; 1947 to Edmonton on CCF executive (EJP 15 173: Taber Advertiser 995
Sorry but I don't know what these source number means.
