William Thomas Cook, Manitoulin Island to Alberta in 1910

Hi,
Looking for any information on William Thomas COOK, who was born February 07, 1863 in Bentinck Township, Grey County, Ontario. He lived in Silver Water, Manitoulin Island, Ontario for some time. He married Grace POTTS in 1887 and had 5 children: Norman Sinclair Halberton (b. 1888, m. Jennie Barbra McMillan, 1911 and d. in Taber, Alberta), Robert John Earnest (b. 1890), William E. (b. 1891), George Lyslie (1893), and Elizabeth (1896). The family moved to Alberta in 1911. William T. COOK died March 16, 1944 and was buried in Grey County, Ontario (not certain if he/family had returned to Ontario at some point or if he was just buried there).

Any help would be of great assistance. Thanks

Sean Gale
John W Hall drowning 1907 Taber - Susan Nina later Nordquist

One branch of my HALL family went from Idaho to Alberta in 1904 and settled near Taber. John W (Wood or Woodruff) HALL drowned there on 16 Aug 1907 according to church records, and was buried at Taber. His wife was Susan Nina nee EDWARDS, and there were three children with them - Tracy Alphonso, who seems to have been known as Alphonso, and two sisters, Vivian, and Viola. Tracy Alphonso was the child of Susan and her first husband, William Tracy HALL - who was John W HALL's brother and died in Idaho. Susan Nina and the children moved to Gleichen about 1913 and she married John Arvid NORDQUIST. Vivian later married Ted JAMES. I would love to make contact with any living relatives to learn what became of them all as well as anything about the circumstances surrounding the drowning - obituaries, newspaper accounts, etc.

Nothing is known of them after this point.
I have new information that indicates a William C. Strong married Alice B. Posey in Grant County, Wisconsin on 14/11/1891. They may have moved to North Dakota. They did however move to Taber around 1909 because my Grandfather and his family immigrated from North Dakota in 1909 and stayed with the Strong family in Taber, Alberta during the remainder of that year. I would like to hear from anyone who would have knowledge of that Strong family. They don't appear in the cemetery records for Taber and so they may have moved from there at some later date. Alice B. Posey was born about 1871 and was a sister to my grandmother Clara M. Blanchard(Posey).

I am researching my family line: LARSON

I have located my great granfather Lars O(Olef) LARSON born July 1857 and listed as born in Wisconsin, USA(thought to have been born on the boat over from Norway) from the Minnesota 1900 census. He then moved to Cormonant, Becker County, Minnesota where his wife Elizabeth HALLIDAY;HOLLIDAY (married 1882, unknown location)had twelve children. He later died in Alberta, Canada or possibly in the USA in 1940/?/?.
I am looking for the family of Herb Strong who lived in Taber around 1909-10. Mrs. Strong was a Posey. She had been born in WI. Her sister, Clara May was married to Francis(Frank) J. Blanchard. The Blanchard family immigrated to Alberta in 1909 and lived with the Herb Strong family for a short time. Susannah (Susan) Neil was reported to be living in Taber in 1917 according to an obituary of her sister Abigail Coleman (Neil), who died and was buried in Dufferin Co. Ontario. Any information on either of these surnames would be appreciated.
