HI - Probably not much if any information - in the Warner area - they stayed for such a short time.
Do you know if there were any family - friends in the Warner area? You may be able to find some information through them.

Search: Alberta GenWeb Local History Books - there is an index of names found in Local History Books.

Have you researched in ONTARIO. Posted to Message Boards in Ontario - for the Location where the family settled.?

Your Grandfather - may have applied for Naturalization- while still in Alberta. Have you searched - ?

In the early 1940's we had the National Registration of All Canadians over the age of 16 years.
This information is available - the cost aprox $48.15
Ibelieve returned if nothing found.

I am assuming that your grandparents are no longer living/
Have you obtained Registration of Death/Genealogical Registration of Death.
Will show personal information as known to the Informant
May show their actual place of birth, names of parents etc.
Obtain from Vital Statistics Dept in the Province where they passed away.

Cheers & Good Luck, Stella
