Herbert E. HARKNESS was twice married. First to Lucy GENSON, by whom he had one daughter,

the mother died at the birth of this daughter. Second, to Gertrude KELLY by whom he has two daughters,
2. Margaret Alice HARKNESS ,age about 21, and
3. Ruth Jean HARKNESS , age about 19.
This family, including the daughter Lucy, lives [1940] near Millet, [Wetaskiwin Co.] Alberta, Canada
Herbert may have died (there?) 1953. [The North Kortright Cemetery in Delaware Co., NY contains a stone for: Herbert E. Harkness 1881-1953. Not sure if it's this Herbert.]
