Can anyone tell me how to find out about how people filed for homesteads in the area of Edson in the years from around 1910/1912? Was called "Heatherwood" before it was changed to Edson...........all the cordinates for land show only "Grand Pacific Railway" or something of that nature so was possibly an area in the outer parimeters of of Edson proper? I see every village or town in the lists accept one for Edson.........was this so bad and area that the railway sold off the lands?
