Depends on what records you are interested in. The Vancouver Public Library has a great collection of items. The old BC directories are now online and free access. Genealogically, there are 3 Family History Centres - Burnaby on Kincaid Avenue, Surrey on 126th Street, and Abbotsford. As has been mentioned, they only have films from Salt Lake City that have been ordered by the patrons. There is also the Cloverdale Public Library, in Cloverdale. They have a great collection of Canadiana. Then last but not least, the library of the British Columbia Genealogical Society. No records, but a lot of great information - check out the website at bcgs.ca. If you are coming into town, and want to use the library, they may open to allow you access. What specific records are you hoping to find??
