Surnames: Boothroyd, Bootheroyd
William H Boothroyd, brother of George Boothroyd, moved back to Lisbon, St. Lawrence Co., NY, where his father, William Boothroyd, Sr. had settled after immigrating about 1831.
George's son, George, Jr., returned to the area and died here. Another son Silas, was a visitor, as was George, Sr. daughter Emma, who married a ?Youman and settled in Ohio, Emma visited with her daughter, who married a Ross.
Many of William, Sr. descendants went out to BC to visit and you will probably have come across some the names of Crayford/Crawford, Burrows/Burroughs.
