You can obtain copies of the actual registrations (with all of the recorded details) for a fee, through the General Record Office in England. An easy search and order service is available through findmypast.com
In the Free BMD index, if you click "see others on this page", you will get a list of the other people appearing on the same registration page -- one of them will be the spouse, and the other two will be another couple.
