I am searching for descendants of the Clifford family. My great-great-grandfather John Clifford was born April 1, 1834 (England?); married Elizabeth (b. March 24,
1841, d. June 24, 1922, presumably in Ontario - maiden name?) in Ingersoll, Ontario and moved to Balmoral, Manitoba in 1875. Elizabeth and five children moved to Manitoba to join John in 1879; four more children were born on the homestead. One of Elizabeth and John's children was Ellen "Nellie" Clifford; she married Charles T. Hancock (b. Jan. 8, 1864, d. April 21, 1904)and had a son, Allan "Handy" Hancock, who died August 19, 1942 during WWII at Dieppe, France. Allan's only son is my father, Allan Clifford Wayne Hancock. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Shannon
