Hello,
I have an Edmond Villebrun, born March 8 18880 in Ile-des-Chenes, Manitoba, son of Pierre Villebrun and Jeannette Ritchot.
Pierre Villebrun married Jeannette Ritchot, Jan. 11, 1876 in St.Boniface MB. He was born Aug. 10, 1855 in St. Norbert MB and died May 10 1810 in St.Norbert MB. His parents were Louis Plouffe dit Villebrun and Louise Berard.
Jeannette Ritchot was born Aug. 9, 1869 in St.Vital MB (now part of Winnipeg). After her first husband's death, she remarried to Alfred Theriault, 1915 in Winnipeg and Albert Robillard 19 1925 in St.Boniface. Her parents were Andre Ritchot and Marguerite Ladouceur.
Both Ritchot and Plouffe dit Villebrun are of Metis (aboriginal) ancestry.
