I am researching Villebrun family I have gotten as far back as Louis Villebrun born 1766 in Quebec . My dad was born in Vernont US. From what I understand my grandfather Joseph born 1900 in Vermont and his father Edmund or Joseph Edmund born 1880 in Ide des Chenes. I was told he worked the railroad and went to vermont . I was told he married Alice Brunnell from N.Y. I can't seem to find any proof or facts. If someone could help that would be great. It appears his mom and dad were Pierre and Jeanette Richot. I hope I am on the right road. Also, trying to find out my indian heritage. thanks
