Albert, I have no idea if this will help you, but John McAllister ,b. Ireland, lived in Hopewell area. Have not been able to nail down his actual BD, but he married Catherinie McCarron in Hopewell Parish on 3/Jan/1854. Catherine's parents were John McCarron and Mary (McShary) McCarron of Harvey. Catherine was born 13/Jul/1832. Accrdg to the information I have the McCarrons were a large family and lived in Harvey and also around Joggins Ragged Reef. It says in Cumberland County, polling dist 5 1861 there were nine females and four males in one of their households.Mary McCarron would have been 7 yrs older than Catherine and Mary married 6 yrs before Catherine. perhaps they were related but I have no knowledge to share at this point other than this. Hope it gives you some clues. I am tracing the McAllister relationship of John Samuel ,but only recently got the info on the New Brunswick/Nova Scotia relationship.
