Marilyn, thank you soooo much for taking the time to make the four suggestions! I have printed them all out. I also want to see what is left of the fort in St Andrews where my soldier William Hetherington was stationed and later was a tide waiter at the customs office. He is buried in the All Saints Churchyard. I understand the stone is worn. I have a transcription done years ago by a great aunt. Thanks again, and I hope to visit the Charlotte County Archives on Thursday the 26th. I cannot tell you how I am looking forward to seeing your beautiful province! Debbie
