I found a notice of his death there but not an obit. His death record, assuming I have the right John mentions a one week illness of inflamed lungs and that his occupation was carpenter. Perhaps he was a volunteer fireman to have so many firemen in his procession? In Daniel's listings, one is for the death of their second daughter Mabel with a note for the Boston papers to copy. Wonder if that meant there were relatives at Boston, or if he worked on a steamer?
