Hello from Northwestern Ontario!
My McGinns are thought to be from County Down, over about 1820, 9 or 10 individuals all together.
Port of entry is unknown.
I know of 6 of those individuals who settled in Dundas County Ontario, then Upper Canada.
I am wondering if part of my family may have stayed in NB area. I have known for years that there were McGinns early on but we have made no connections to them.

I did note an Ann McGinn marriage to Pearson 1832 in NB so McGinns settled there fairly early too.
