Deborah, You are quite right about your ancestry pointing to a glaring error in Theriault's book, viz. John David Brune married Catherine d/o Joseph Wilson (1824-1913) and Mary Cowan. Theriault in his book had misplaced Catherine as a younger sister of Joseph Wilson. When Catherine Wilson died in 1901, her age at burial was estimated at 45 years, her age was perhaps closer to 40 years; whatever her exact age, Catherine was a daughter of Joseph Wilson.
